Leslie Speaker Restoration


Provided to Leslies purchased and upon request for Leslies already owned.

1.    Amplifier

      - All capacitors and resistors replaced

      - Electrolytic Can Capacitor replaced

      - Crossover replaced

      - Solid state relay installed 

      - Volume control de-oxidized

      - All tube sockets de-oxidized

      - All tubes replaced

      - Cable replaced if necessary

2.    Bass Rotor Drum

       - Slow/Fast Motors re-built and lubricated

       - Re-wired if necessary

       - Armature resurfaced

       - Woofer replaced if necessary

       - Woofer gasket installed if necessary

       - Pulleys replaced if necessary

       - Bearings and grommets replaced

       - Belt replaced if necessary

       - Shaft greased

3.    Treble Rotary Unit

       - Treble Horns lubricated

       - Slow/Fast Motors re-built and lubricated

       - Re-wired if necessary

       - Armature resurfaced

       - Tweeter replaced if necessary

       - Idler assembly bearing replaced

       - Pulleys replaced if necessary

       - Bearings and grommets replaced

       - Belt replaced if necessary

4.    Internal and external cabinet cleaned

5.    Cabinet Finish (Complete Restoration) - pictured below

       - Stripped

       - Sanded

       - Re-colored

       - Stained

       - Given three (3) coats of polyurethane clear coat finish

The above list covers the major restorations, repairs, and servicing done to the Leslie. Other miscellaneous adjustments and corrections are also thoroughly attended to.
