Leslie Speaker Restoration


Provided to Leslies purchased and upon request for Leslies already owned.

1.    Amplifier

      - All Internal Capacitors and Resistors replaced

      - Electrolytic Can Capacitor replaced where applicable

      - Solid State Relay installed 

      - Volume Potentiometer replaced

      - All Tube Sockets de-oxidized

      - All Tubes replaced

      - Cable replaced if necessary

2.    Bass Rotary Unit

       - Slow/Fast Motors cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted

       - Re-wiring if necessary

       - Armature resurfaced

       - Bass Speaker replaced if necessary

       - Bass Speaker Gasket installed if necessary

       - O’Ring replaced

       - Bearings and Grommets replaced

       - Belt replaced

       - Shaft greased

3.    Treble Rotary Unit

       - Treble Horns lubricated

       - Slow/Fast Motors cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted

       - Re-wiring if necessary

       - Armature resurfaced

       - Treble Driver replaced if necessary

       - Idler Assembly Bearing replaced

       - O’Ring replaced

       - Bearings and grommets replaced

       - Belt replaced

4. Crossover Capacitor replaced

5. Internal Cabinet cleaned

6.    Cabinet Finish (Complete Restoration) - pictured below

       - Stripped

       - Sanded

       - Re-stained

       - Given three (3) coats of polyurethane clear coat finish

The above list covers the major restorations, repairs, and servicing done to the Leslie. Other miscellaneous adjustments and corrections are also thoroughly attended to.
